Cary, North Carolina – 101 Weston Labs, an InsurTech accelerator focused on innovations for independent insurance agents, has announced that Amwins – a leading, global specialty insurance distributor – has partnered with them to support forward-thinking entrepreneurs in their effort to build scalable InsurTech startups.
The accelerator, which is a project of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC), works with startups that are innovating in areas like AI, data analytics, process automation, cyber liability, quoting, and more. The program helps advance their efforts by facilitating a network of agents, advisors, and service providers who provide product feedback and operational acumen.
Amwins will now be the Presenting Sponsor of the 101 Weston Labs Demo Day, when accelerator participants “pitch” their InsurTech to hundreds of industry attendees at the IIANC InsurEXPO. This year’s Demo Day will take place during the conference dates of September 25-26, 2025 and be held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
